Give Love….to get Love….

I have heard, people grumbling, nobody loves me! Well I feel one should see the deep meaning in what these people say, one should see whether it’s really out of thirst to be loved by someone or some kind of a selfish expectation, to get their expectations met. It is very natural for someone to expect that he/she is loved by someone and taken care of well. To love someone and to be loved by someone is a gift; really a God given gift, very rarely does the two mutually co-exist. Every relationship starts off as an initial attraction towards an individual and his/her unique trait that strikes a chord with ones deep emotions and sentiments. Most of the relationships and friendships are not the most easy to understand, nobody really knows why someone loves or gets loved by someone. What is understood is, there is something in common, a converging point between two souls, that matches up and strikes the emotional chords. I knew this guy in my schooldays, who was very attached to one of his teacher, who he considered an invisible force, who could get his motivational levels to immeasurable heights in any given circumstance. He was so attached to this teacher, that when he realized that she had cancer, he resoluted that he would become a doctor and would ensure that his life would be dedicated to alleviate the pain of those who suffer from this dreaded disease. He studied so well that he cleared all his exams with a distinction, and got admission in one of the most prestigious medical university in the country, today he is a leading cancer specialist, who is world renowned and considered an authority in his subject. But as one of his very close friends, he always tells me that though he gives the very best of his skill and efficiency towards every single patient of his, it’s the enormous power of Love and Care that he learnt from his late loving teacher, that made him a successful doctor.Afterall no textbook in this universe can ever explain the invisible power of Love…..So to Get Love….Let’s learn to give Love.

May GOD exist and GODMEN / WOMEN extinct

I know this curious situation where hoards of people visit Godmen / women for salvation and solace. Most of these self proclaimed supernatural men / women claim that they are the messengers of GOD and that they had been sent to this world for liberating the people from their miseries. Well point well taken….but are they really saying the truth or just found a new way of duping ignorant people, particularly those who are emotionally vulnerable, for their own vested interests.

I knew a middle aged women, very talented, loving and affectionate who just got mislead by one such fake swami and got estranged from her family, which had her golden hearted, not so successful husband and three loving daughters. As destiny took its turn, time flew by and when this woman returned back, she found that she could physically fit in to the scheme of things but, could not connect emotionally with her daughters. So sad indeed, but on a positive note, her golden hearted husband didn’t get married for the second time and accepted her back with the same warmth and affection.Infact I recollect he performing prayers on her birthday, even while she was away in the past, for her well being. That was just an instance how a beautiful institution called family could get destroyed, when we allow strangers within, in any form.

The other day a friend of mine who proudly claims that he is an atheist, said, “Well if you look at it that way, then even GOD is a stranger”.

I told him from whatever little I learnt from somewhere , “ Our culture teaches us “AHAM BRAHMASME” in Sanskrit, which translated in English means, “You are the BRAHMAN, meaning GOD is you and within you”

So why are these fake Godmen still flourishing….neither Sri Adi Sankaracharya nor Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa or Jesus Christ claimed they were Godmen, rather they were one of those greatest human beings Mother Universe gave birth, who became immortal by their thoughts and deeds.

Let’s think about it….
